Clinical and Diagnostic Assessments
Dr. Bahador conducts clinical and diagnostic assessments to determine the presence of a variety of psychiatric conditions in children, adolescents, and adults, including:

Anxiety disorder (such as Separation Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Panic Disorder)

Depressive disorder (such as Major Depressive Disorder)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Bipolar Disorder

Eating Disorder

Alcohol or substance abuse disorder
The assessment typically includes the following: 2-hour initial intake interview with parents (or adult) to obtain information regarding history and current symptoms, structured clinical interviews with the individual, a brief assessment (i.e., administration of specific tests, self-report questionnaires and informant questionnaires), review of previous assessment reports, and a feedback session to discuss diagnostic findings and specific recommendations for treatment, including referrals (as needed).
