Dr. Bahador has been offering clinical and assessment services in the Los Angeles area for over two decades. Our office is located on Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica. There is 2-hour metered parking on the two nearest cross streets, Harvard St. and Princeton St. There is also free, 2-hour parking on Harvard St., right after the meters. There is parking in the building, but the office does not provide validation.

Email can be used for the purpose of scheduling, changing appointments, and providing referrals (as needed). Email will not be used to discuss clinical information (i.e., diagnoses, assessments, or interventions). Please do not share any confidential information by email.

All assessments are conducted in the office. Parent meetings, consultation sessions, and therapy sessions can be done in the office or on Zoom.
Payment is due before the start of each appointment (check only, unless other arrangements are made in advance).
Hourly rate for services: $325 per hour
Parent consultations: $325 per 60-minute session (available in office or on Zoom)
Psychotherapy: $275 per 50-minute session (available in office or on Zoom)
IQ testing (testing administration conducted in office):
WPPSI-IV (ages 4 to 7.5) and WISC-V (ages 7.5 to 16.5)
$600 for testing administration in office (the subtests to obtain Full Scale IQ score), scoring, interpretation, and written report.
Optional Parent Feedback Sessions: A parent feedback session is highly recommended - this is usually the most helpful and valuable part of IQ testing (conducted in office or on Zoom).
1) 60-minute parent feedback session - IQ test results:
Dr. Bahador will discuss the IQ test results, make recommendations based on results and child's current functioning, and address parent's questions. Fee is an additional $325.
2) 75-minute parent feedback session - IQ test results and school placement consultation:
Dr. Bahador will discuss the IQ test results, gather additional information about the child (history and current functioning), and integrate test results with history to offer recommendations regarding school placement options. Dr. Bahador will also address any questions. Recommended when parents want guidance about schools that would be a good fit for their child based on strengths, challenges and educational goals.
Fee is an additional $400.
WAIS-IV (ages 16.5 and older)
$875 for testing administration in office (the subtests to obtain Full Scale IQ score), scoring, interpretation, and written report.
60-minute feedback session for Dr. Bahador to discuss the IQ test results, gather additional information (i.e., history), integrate test results and history to make additional, specific recommendations, and answer any questions (in office or on Zoom). Fee is an additional $325.
Please email us if you are interested in obtaining an IQ test (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you would like to have your child complete an IQ test as part of the admission's process to the Mirman School, we recommend that you contact us by early fall to schedule an appointment. Dr. Bahador usually has a 3 to 4 week waiting list for IQ testing.
Comprehensive Psycho-Educational Assessments (including neuropsychological testing):
Children (ages 4 to 12): $7,500 for the entire assessment process
Adolescents (ages 13 to 17): $8,000 for the entire assessment process
Adults (age 18 and older): $8,500 for the entire assessment process

Payment is due at the time of service. Our practice does not accept direct payment from insurance companies. After payment is made and upon request, you will be given a receipt (with procedure codes and diagnostic codes, as applicable) that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement (based on your insurance plan and benefits). Please contact your insurance company directly to determine your eligibility for benefits for psycho-educational assessments and/or psychotherapy. Insurance companies do not reimburse for intellectual assessments (IQ testing). Our psychologists are not preferred providers for any insurance companies (they are out of network).
